It was always so easy for me to talk to Mrs. Sword - too easy for me if you asked Tony. He used to get so mad at me for naively revealing details to her during our conversations. I couldn’t understand why he would want to keep silly things such as who he liked a secret from her. I lost track of her long ago, and reading about her passing today brought me great sadness. I will always have her in my heart.

Dorothy was our neighbor and friend for many years. Her son Tony was still in high school when we moved next door to her and him.She was always an advocate for children, senior citizens and any one that needed her on their side.We spent a lot of time talking & visiting with her over the last 37 years.RIP Dorothy.

Just wanted to say in the time I got to know her it was such a blessing. I loved her spunk. She made me smile I made her smile. It was great. I sure miss her. Hats remind me of her and speaking your mind. Her son Tony was very nice. She did that right for sure. Gone but not forgotten. Ruby🌷
