Aiddon and I meet at school, several years ago. We enjoyed talking about the important things in life, hunting, fishing and shrimping. He was so polite and we shared many laughs. I will miss him.

This young man was a force to be reckoned with. He had so much passion and vitality for those he believed in and what he stood for. There was no way you could be around him and not hear him making a stand about something. He made sure everyone heard what he had to say. And you wouldn't find him backing down from a conflict, even if he had to travel to the conflict. The guy I knew was very respectful to me and my family. He called my son his homie. They were roommates for a time and inseparable for awhile teaching things he knew that mine wasn't afforded learning through experiences on the water and in the woods. I would never thought we would have to say goodbye to him this soon. I don't like that I won't see his sweet smile or the twinkle in his eyes when he talked anymore. We will miss out on him being in our lives but he will never feel pain or loss again because he has peace now.

My heart god out to you and your family May I know things aren't right but let the love from your family and friends help you as it did me. And other times I just wanted to kill someone for saying how are you holding up? I just wanted to scream sometimes, and believe it or not I still do. Just always remember there are your other children who also love and need you. Unconditional love is that of a child! I love you and hope you find. That inner peace with all.

My heart has been broken and heavy since the moment I heard the news on Wednesday. I've known Tiny from the moment we knew he exsisted in his mothers womb. Watched him grow up right in front of my eyes. He was Tiny but he was a fire cracker. Tender hearted and well mannered. Loved his family and had a heart for adventure. I will never understand God's plan for taking our loved ones home at such a tender young age. But try to hold on to hope that one day we will understand. I pray for comfort for his family and friends while we lay him to rest on Wednesday and slowly learn to live a life with out him in it. My deepest condolence to everyone.

At a time such as this, it is very hard to find words that will comfort the family of the deceased. I being one who believes in Jesus Christ and his healing power of mind and body must go to him. No man can bring the family the peace and comfort they are seeking from such a tragedy like this. Only God knows why this happened and only God can refocus those left behind to continue with their lives and cherish the memories of this young man. We must go on, we must lean on God for the strength to do so. There is no easy answer and we the friends of the family pray that in time the sting of losing him will lessen. He will never be forgotten, he's just gone on before. I pray some measure of peace and comfort finds each member of the Hicks' Family.
