Debbie and I got to know Paul and the family while I was working with him at 12th AF HQ. Our daughter, Lauralee, was one of Paul Jr's classmates at Bowie High. We all thoroughly enjoyed our association with the Gigueres and I quickly grew to respect Paul and found working with him to be a great pleasure. It was not possible to have an encounter with him without winding up with a smile on my face. It seemed that every time the office had a social function, I was off in some far corner of South America and Debbie wound up sitting on the opposite side of Paul from Carrol Ann and got to know them both quite well. We are both terribly saddened by his passing (of which we learned just today) as is the rest of our family. Please accept our most sincere condolences and our apologies for not having made the funeral today. We pray God's comfort and strength upon you all and may He bless you with the fondest memories of this wonderful man.

I've worked with Paul at Eglin AFB in the 46th Test Squadron since December 2008. I enjoyed talking with him, as he really cared about us as software testers. I share at least in part of your grief in losing him. He will be missed.
